ATLANTIS HOT TUB COVER LIFTER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE NOTE in order for the cover lifter to work correctly you must have a
minimum of 400mm of space behind the Spa, alternatively you could fit it from the front if you have no other
option.

This is what your Cover Lifter looks like when it

Please Note. The Cover Lifter Bracket must be
fitted to the back corner , running parallel with the side of the spa (Fig"5")

Please Note. The Cover Lifter Bracket must be
fitted to the back corner 150mm from the spa lip(Fig"6")
and running parallel to the side (Fig"5")

Please note carefully The 2 long screws must be fitted
through the centre holes of the bracket
through the cabinet and into the wooden spars that are part of the structure,
you can identify these by removing the side panel. Failure to do this will
result in damage to the cabinet side

These are the half circle clamps that fit around
your cover lifter upright (Fig"7")

|
Slide one half of the upright clamps onto the shaft(Fig"8")
|

Slide on your cover lifter upright onto the shaft (Fig"9")
|

|
Slide the second half of the upright clamps
onto the shaft(Fig"10")

|
Slide the washer onto the shaft(Fig"11")

|
Finaly fit the nut and tighten until you take up
all the free play leaving the arm free to swing(Fig"12")

Now fit the bent pipe to the cover lifter upright
making sure that the longest side is facing into the
centre of your spa(Fig"13")

Position your lifter arm cross member in the
crease of your spa cover making sure that the cover is
fitted in the correct position(Fig"14")

Once you have aligned your lifter as in
Fig"14" you will have to drill the pipe
through the pre-drilled hole using a drill
screw Fig"16" this will then anchor you lifter
arm in the correct position(Fig"15") fit the
screw cover Fig"17"

Slide the centre piece of pipe over the
lifter arm in readiness for coupling up to the other
side(Fig"18")
|
|
|
|
Please repeat the same build up on the opposite side following the same procedure,
but do not tighten the nut until you have coupled up the
centre piece of pipe
|

Now all that remains is to screw drill the
centre pipe making sure that the holes are facing
towards the rear, if you do not do this eventually the
screws will tear your spa cover(Fig"20")

Screw drill the pipe through the pre-drilled holes and fit the screw caps
|
